12" Antique German Minerva Tin Head Doll

Description

Up for bid in this auction is a 12" German tin head doll with a cloth body and odd wooden stubby lower arms.  She is marked front and back on the shoulder with "Germany" and the Minerva symbol.  Her clothing is all original and includes her two-tone faded and spotted cotton dress, matching panties without damage, a full slip trimmed as shown at the neck and hem and her black cotton stockings, stuffed with sawdust and sewn to form the lower part of her legs.  She has the usual facial wear found on dolls of this age. She has some holes in one stocking but no leaking sawdust.
