Description
GFI System Clockworks Delay V2Delay Pedal
Product Details:
Concept: The Clockworks Delay v.2 offers one standard digital delay mode plus six variation modes: Tape, LoFi, Ambient, and Multi-head (2 / 3 / 4) delay.
Presets: Up to 8 presets may be saved & stored; no more knob-tweaking during live performances.
Tap-Tempo: Built-in tap-tempo capability with 4 sub-division options (quarter-note, eighth-note, dotted-eighth, & 8th-note triplets).
Stereo I/O: Dual inputs and outputs deliver wide stereo impression.
Delay Trails: When the pedal is bypassed the delay tail is not abruptly cut off; instead it decays naturally. The delay trails feature will also work when changing presets, as long as your presets are all in the same delay mode setting.
Auto Regen (Feedback) Sweep: When this feature is engaged, the Feedback parameter controlled by the REGEN knob is slowly swept to the maximum value, held there, and then swept back to the original setting. Used judiciously, this feature can introduce dynamic elements to any soundscape (watch the demo videos to see it in action).
Analog Dry-Thru: Dry signal is routed through a 100% analog circuit path; no sterile-sounding digital converters or annoying lag times.
Small Form Factor: The Clockworks Delay measures 12 x 6.5 (cm) or 4.7 x 2.5 (inch); an extremely small footprint considering the unit's advanced feature set.
Standard Delay
This is a pristine digital delay with modulation. A touch of tone-shaping is applied to keep the repeats from sounding sterile/cold while still retaining clarity and definition. Maximum delay time is 1000 mS (1 second). Modulation depth is fully adjustable and modulation rate is fixed to slow or medium speed.
(T) Tape
This mode is an emulation of the tape echo system that produces band-limited echoes with a touch of saturation and delay time variation. The PARAM knob is partitioned into 2 regions: The first half gives you the normal stereo and the second half delivers ping-pong stereo. Feedback resonance is fully adjustable within each region (resonance increases as the knob is turned clockwise).
(L) LoFi
This variation mode has a special voicing that mimics the sound of an analog delay. The warm and lush repeats work great to thicken your guitar sound without getting in the way of the dry sound. Maximum delay time is 1000 mS (1 second). Modulation depth is fully adjustable and modulation rate is fixed to slow or medium speed.
(A) Ambient
This variation mode blurs the line between delay and reverb. Repeats get more diffuse with each cycle, and as REGEN knob is turned up the echoes wash out into reverb-like ambience. The PARAM knob controls the type and level of a secondary pitch-shifted voice. The first half of the knob range constitutes Perfect-Fifth pitch interval and the second half constitutes Octave interval. The voice level is adjustable within each region (loudness increases as the knob is turned clockwise).
(H2) 2-Head Delay
This is a model of a classic tape delay with 2 playback heads. Each input sound event will be played back twice at different delay times, and signals from the playback heads are re-injected into the feedback loop, creating layers of warm and complex multi-tap echoes. 4 choices of head configurations (tap patterns) are accessible through the PARAM knob.
(H3) 3-Head Delay
This is a model of classic tape delay with 3 playback heads. Each input sound event will be played back three times at different delay times, and signals from the playback heads are re-injected into the feedback loop, creating layers of warm and complex multi-tap echoes. 4 choices of head configurations (tap patterns) are accessible through the PARAM knob.
(H4) 4-Head Delay
This is a model of tape delay with 4 playback heads. Each input sound event will be played back 4 times at different delay times, and signals from the playback heads are re-injected into the feedback loop, creating layers of warm and complex multi-tap echoes. 4 choices of head configurations (tap patterns) are accessible through the PARAM knob.
