Vintage Ocarina fish clay pottery flute folk art 4-hole

Description

From the estate of a collector of Native American art; kept in a glass curio cabinet. The fish ocarina  is a rare item; could not find another like it.   In pristine condition.
The pottery i
tem is approx 6 inches long and 4 inches tall. Scales are etched on the body and fins. Four holes are in the body  and one in the tail. The rectangular hole in the bottom was probably for support during firing or characteristic of ocarinas.   Do not know the musical range.  Artist unknown.  A great find for collectors of unusual musical instruments, fish or perhaps Native American pottery.
